Release list
ALO 0.3.0
ALO 0.3.0
Fix your history, ask a model about your day, and sign in.
New
- Correct a session from the Timeline: rename it, set its project, split it or merge it with the next one. Every correction can be undone
- ALO can learn a project from the sites you set, and you can review or forget what it learned in Settings
- AI, off until you turn it on: use a local model (Ollama, LM Studio) or your own Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini or Jev key. Keys stay in your Keychain. The Timeline can show a summary of your day
- Data quality in Diagnostics: see each recorded event, where it came from and anything that looks wrong
- Your apps' real icons throughout ALO
- Settings to run ALO in the background and to show or hide the menu bar icon
- Account in Settings: sign in with a code sent to your email, and get ALO Pro
- ALO AI, included with Pro: summaries without a key of your own. ALO passes compressed session facts to Anthropic and keeps nothing
Fixed
- The menu bar window no longer closes when you move the pointer away. It closes when you click elsewhere or press Escape
- Private Zones now start empty. The six zones earlier versions added for everyone are removed, unless you changed them
- Connectors show Connected only when ALO has seen data from them
- Events that failed to save are retried instead of dropped
Known
- macOS only
- ALO Pro's sync relay isn't live yet
- Device pairing shows a code, but devices don't sync yet
- Mobile clients still in development
Signed with Developer ID and notarised by Apple. Verify with SHA256SUMS.txt.
