Compatibility

  • This release has been tested with Kotlin versions 2.2.0 … 2.5.0-dev-6460. Its ABI is binary-compatible with 1.1.0.

Changes

  • The Gradle plugin now supports multiple versions of the Kotlin Gradle plugin.
  • There is preliminary experimental support for the new JS test DSL and Playwright-based browser tests in Kotlin 2.4.20-RC and above.
  • The minimum supported JDK is now 8 instead of 11.
