BaudHoundTerm 0.8.0 build 30
Warning
Not code-signed. This build has no code-signing certificate yet, so Windows SmartScreen will warn about an unknown publisher. Before running it, check the zip against the SHA-256 below or with the attached SHA256SUMS file: sha256sum -c SHA256SUMS on Linux, or Get-FileHash -Algorithm SHA256 <zip> in PowerShell.
Self-contained Windows 11 build, x64. Extract the whole archive and run BaudHoundTerm.exe; the Assets and libvlc folders must stay next to it. The build is unsigned, so Windows SmartScreen reports an unknown publisher. See the manual.

Changes since build 29
- Auto-login asks for a password that is not saved instead of stopping, so it works without saving passwords.
- Remember in the password prompt now saves the secret it asked for; it did nothing before.
- Quick connect takes
user@host:portfor SSH. - Tags can be edited in shortcut properties.
- VNC tabs: Send Ctrl+Alt+Del and Agent on this tab on the tab's right-click menu.
- A new telnet or VNC shortcut shows its own default port instead of 22.
- New shortcuts no longer come with a
claude --permission-mode bypassPermissionscommand. - The agent panel no longer says it acts without asking; that depends on the endpoint's Approval setting.
- Wording: the log folder label and the command-confirm title say BaudHoundTerm.
Not yet tested on Windows
The agent on VNC tabs, BaudHound discovery and TLS, the link lamps, and the changes above.

What it does
- SSH, telnet, serial, local shells, VNC and RTSP cameras in tabs; saved sessions in folders; a DPAPI credential vault; KeePassXC passwords and SSH agent logins.
- Session logging, auto-login scripts, auto-reconnect, SFTP/SCP, XMODEM/YMODEM and TFTP.
- Sync of shortcuts between PCs through a private git repository.
- An AI agent on any tab through an OpenAI-compatible endpoint: on terminals it runs commands, on VNC tabs it sees the screen and clicks and types (the model must accept images).
- The desktop console for BaudHound: finds devices on the network, connects over TLS with a pinned certificate, line mode, and the device's commands on the right-click menu.
- TX/RX lamps and byte counts on serial and telnet tabs.
