inksprite v0.1.0-dev.16
Projects always in a folder in the desktop app, and a Projects menu atop
the outline.
- The desktop app keeps every project in its folder, and the switch for
it is gone. Projects the app kept inside itself move into the folder
the first time it opens, with a toast that shows how far they've got.
Show in Finder (Show in Explorer, Show folder) is always beside Export
and Import in Settings › System. - Closing the desktop app just after typing no longer loses the last
few words. The window waits for them to be saved. - Projects, a menu at the top left of the outline, has Switch project,
New project and Import project, and the open project's settings,
export and delete. The plus at the top of the outline now starts a
document, and Import beside it brings files into the project. - An image in a reply is shown as a link to it. A page the model read
could otherwise have it show an image whose address carries your
words away, without a click. - The app runs only its own scripts, in the browser and in the desktop
app. - Some MCP servers couldn't be signed in to on app.inksprite.io. They
can now.
Downloads
A development build of the desktop app.
- macOS: the
.dmgending inarm64for Apple silicon, or inx64for an Intel Mac. Signed and notarized. - Windows: the
.exe. It isn't signed, so Windows warns that it doesn't recognize the app: choose More info, then Run anyway. - Linux: the
.AppImage, or the.debfor Debian and Ubuntu. If the AppImage won't start on Ubuntu 24.04 or later, install the.deb, or start the AppImage with--no-sandbox.
Once installed, the app updates itself: it downloads each new release and offers to restart into it. The .zip, .blockmap and .yml files are for the updater.
An app installed from a release before v0.1.0-dev.8, the first built with Electron, doesn't update to this one; install it over that one.
