@insaid-code insaid-code released this 11 Oct 23:28

🚀 What's New in v1.2.0

⛔ Title & Media Blacklist (/data/blacklist.txt)

  • Privacy Control for Guilty Pleasures: TV shows and movies added to the blacklist are skipped from automatic individual scrobbles on Bluesky.
  • Visual Privacy in Periodic Reports: Blacklisted titles and their poster artwork are excluded from weekly/monthly 3x3 and 2x2 visual collages, top lists, and mid-month fun facts (such as the longest completed show).
  • Accurate Viewing Metrics Retained: Total watch time (minutes/hours) and episode/movie counts still incorporate your actual screen time, keeping your global statistics real without exposing private titles.
  • Multi-Provider ID Support: Supports entries by ID from TheTVDB (tvdb:ID or standalone number), TMDB (tmdb:ID), IMDb (imdb:tt...), SIMKL (simkl:ID), and WeTrakr (wetrakr:ID), with support for # comments.
  • Zero-Downtime Hot-Reloading: The blacklist file /data/blacklist.txt is monitored for changes via file modification timestamp (mtime). Adding or removing titles takes effect immediately on the next check cycle without needing to restart Docker containers.
  • Safe & Non-Destructive: Skipped items are not marked as announced, allowing future flexibility.
  • Privacy-Safe Defaults: A sample template data/blacklist.example.txt is provided, while actual user blacklist files remain strictly ignored by .gitignore.

📚 Documentation & Roadmap

  • Trilingual documentation (English, Spanish, Catalan) updated across all READMEs and configuration guides.
  • ROADMAP.md updated with full technical specification for F-10.
  • Internal client user agents bumped to v1.2.0.

v1.1.0 — TheTVDB v4 Title Localization & Simkl Delta Sync

@insaid-code insaid-code released this 06 Oct 15:14

🚀 What's New in v1.1.0

🌐 Official Title Localization (TheTVDB v4 API)

  • Native Spanish Localization: TV show, anime, and movie titles are now automatically resolved and published in Spanish for Spanish (es) and Catalan (ca) configurations.
  • Adaptive Localized Hashtags: The primary show/movie hashtag matches the published localized title (e.g., #RanchoDutton).
  • Persistent Disk Caching: Each title lookup is cached locally on disk in state.json (0 ms latency on subsequent episodes, exactly 1 API call per series lifetime).
  • Graceful Fallback: If a title lacks an official Spanish translation or TVDB_API_KEY is omitted, the bot falls back seamlessly to the original canonical title without errors.

⚡ Tracker & Sync Enhancements

  • Unified Simkl Delta Sync: Compliant with Simkl API v2 activity endpoints, fetching changes across all media types in a single request.
  • Interface Parity: Support for **kwargs across WeTrakr and Simkl adapters.

📚 Documentation

  • Trilingual documentation (English, Spanish, Catalan) updated with TVDB_API_KEY configuration and roadmap specifications.
