v5.5.1.7 // Overlay transparency fix

  • Overlay OPACITY now fades each overlay window through Windows itself, rather than each overlay fading its own contents. It looks the same, but it no longer depends on the graphics card's browser compositing: on some PCs (one report from a Radeon RX 9070 XT) the overlays stayed at full strength whatever the setting. It also costs less to draw.
