What's New

Translation Support (macOS 15 or later)

Adds experimental support for translating text output using Apple's built-in translation API. Run ocrit --help for more details.

Other Improvements

  • When the output path doesn't exist, a directory is automatically created.
  • Empty lines and whitespaces are now removed from the beginning and end of output when writing to stdout.

How to Install

  • Download the ocrit.pkg file below.
  • Double-click to launch the installer, and follow the steps.
  • After installing, ocrit will be available in /usr/local/bin/ocrit. Assuming /usr/local/bin is in your path, you can run ocrit in Terminal to use it.
