Install

  1. Download io.github.insjang.mdviewer_1.0.0.v20260929-145036.jar below.
  2. Close Eclipse and copy the JAR into the dropins folder of your Eclipse installation.
  3. Start Eclipse. .md files open in the Markdown Viewer.

Requires Eclipse 2026-09 (4.41) or later. Windows with Edge (WebView2) supports everything; on Linux the preview works with WebKitGTK, but PDF export does not.

  • Source and Preview tabs in one editor, with scroll position kept when switching
  • GitHub Flavored Markdown (markdown-it): tables, task lists, syntax highlighting, heading anchors
  • Mermaid and PlantUML diagrams, rendered locally (no server, no Graphviz)
  • One-click PDF export (A4, light colors, diagrams included)
  • Fonts, line height, dark and light colors, and Mermaid spacing in Preferences
  • HTML sanitized with DOMPurify; PlantUML runs in its SANDBOX profile
  • English and Korean UI
