The ExploratoryTestRunner is a JUnit 5 compatible state-space exploration test framework for exhaustive validation of complex stateful components. The runner automatically discovers annotated actions and assertions, systematically executes all reachable action sequences, and uses snapshot-based state pruning to avoid redundant exploration while preserving deterministic execution order. It supports configurable exploration depth, history-based pruning to detect issues caused by hidden internal state, parameterized actions via JUnit argument providers, and detailed failure reporting that reconstructs the exact sequence of actions leading to an error.
