Jev Workflows 0.4.0
Jev Workflows 0.4.0 adds typed batch decisions, persistent task context, and receipt-linked outcome records to the open-source Codex plugin.
- Eight MCP tools cover tool, model, task, skill, context, strategy, result, and custom decisions. Independent Choice, Noul, and Score questions can share one bounded evidence state.
- Scoped task context retains objectives, acceptance criteria, corrections, evidence references, and available candidate catalogs. Continue, replace, and reset have explicit semantics.
- Ambiguous choices can abstain, including ranking mode. Single available candidates are evaluated against an explicit non-action option.
- Completion checks evaluate individual acceptance criteria. Outcome records preserve caller provenance and derive provider IDs from existing receipts.
- Accounting separates attempts, validated responses, and provider receipts. HTTP 403 no longer implies a bad credential; recognized Codex network-policy denials have a distinct diagnostic.
- Twelve host lifecycle adapters and three standalone skills are included. There are no plugin-imposed daily, byte, or session quotas by default.
Validation: 152 automated tests on Node 22; typecheck, manifest checks, and generated-package parity; fresh native automatic-hook requests with validated HTTP 200/provider IDs; and independent Codex QA covering the repaired behaviors. A fresh 16-case live benchmark returned 14 correct dispositions, six abstentions, and no false-confident wrong decision. This is a small advisory evaluation, not a universal accuracy guarantee.
Install:
codex plugin marketplace add integrate-your-mind/jev-codex-plugin
codex plugin add jev-workflows@jev-workflowsRequires Node.js 22+ and your own TypeSafe API key. Automation is opt-in on fresh installs. Jev is advisory and does not grant permission, switch models, execute decisions, or independently prove completion.
The release is publicly installable through the Git marketplace and attached archives. Official OpenAI catalog acceptance and universal Plugins Directory approval are separate; this release does not claim either listing is live.
Hosted GitHub Actions could not start because GitHub reported an account billing lock. The local and native checks above passed; hosted CI is not claimed as passed. See VERIFICATION.md for evidence and limitations.
Documentation clarification (2026-09-26): Ranking mode returns disposition: "ranking" without applying conservative confidence/probability floors. For a selected Choice candidate, the compatibility recommendation field still contains its ID; it does not imply those floors passed. Explicit insufficient_evidence always abstains and omits recommendation. Current source and skill documentation clarify this existing behavior; release runtime and asset hashes are unchanged.
Jev Workflows 0.3.0-rc.1: standalone skills and CLI
Jev Workflows 0.3.0 adds standalone skills and a CLI for decision classification, failure diagnosis, and completion evidence review. Each skill runs locally without an MCP server or dependency installation. The full Codex plugin still includes five MCP tools and twelve optional lifecycle adapters. No plugin-imposed daily or session quota is enabled by default.
Install the full plugin:
codex plugin marketplace add integrate-your-mind/jev-codex-plugin
codex plugin add jev-workflows@jev-workflowsOr download a standalone skill ZIP and keep its instructions, references, and bundled script together. Node.js 22+ is required; authorized evaluation uses your own TypeSafe key. Preview is local.
Verification: 106 tests passed on Node 22.23.2 and Node 26.3.0, including real extracted-package execution. Distribution parity, secret scan, fresh native discovery, and independent agent QA passed. The final Jev evidence assessment returned partial support and is documented without treating it as proof or approval.
This is a community release candidate and Git marketplace distribution. OpenAI Directory approval, provider billing reconciliation, and hosted CI execution are separate states. Read VERIFICATION.md for exact scope and limitations.
Downloads include the Codex compatibility package, portable source, three standalone skill ZIPs, and SHA-256 checksums. MIT licensed.
Jev Workflows 0.2.2 — metadata safety candidate
Jev Workflows 0.2.2 is a metadata and policy-safety patch for the public Codex marketplace package.
Changes:
- Marks
configure_automationas destructive in MCP tool annotations. - Explicitly documents that configuring automation replaces the previously saved local policy; the prior policy is not retained.
- Keeps default daily call, byte, and session limits unlimited (
null). - Publishes synchronized portable source and generated Codex host archives with SHA-256 checksums.
Validation:
- Canonical and packaged public source: 91 tests, typecheck, build, and manifest validation passed.
- Distribution parity check and its two regression tests passed.
- Fresh isolated native metadata/MCP verification passed for version 0.2.2: five tools, 12 hooks, exit code 0, zero generative turns, and no provider call.
- Hosted CI was blocked before test execution by the hosting account. Provider billing reconciliation and official directory review remain open.
The 0.2.1 live-provider integration QA remains documented separately in VERIFICATION.md; it is not reattributed to this metadata-only 0.2.2 check.
Install:
codex plugin marketplace add integrate-your-mind/jev-codex-plugin
codex plugin add jev-workflows@jev-workflowsRequires Node.js 22+ and your own TYPESAFE_API_KEY for explicit provider evaluations.
See VERIFICATION.md and the sanitized 0.2.2 native metadata report.
Jev Workflows 0.2.1 — response diagnostics candidate
This candidate fixes a diagnostic gap in failed Jev responses: receipts now preserve a fixed validation-stage code without response bodies, arbitrary field names, error messages, or credentials. It also replaces ambiguous comma-joined key comparisons with exact key matching. Successful response shape, numeric tolerances, and unlimited default quotas are unchanged.
Install:
codex plugin marketplace add integrate-your-mind/jev-codex-plugin
codex plugin add jev-workflows@jev-workflowsRequires Node.js 22+ and your own TYPESAFE_API_KEY. The portable archive contains source and bundled runtime; the Codex archive is the generated host package. SHA256SUMS covers both.
Validation: 91 tests passed for canonical source and again for the packaged public source, plus typecheck, build, manifest validation, two distribution tests, and secret scanning. Fresh native Codex MCP and an install directly from GitHub passed; all 19 installed files matched the public package. The native run retained four validated hook-correlated results, including one abstention, with provider IDs. These are integration checks, not a model-quality benchmark.
Provider dashboard reconciliation remains unresolved. Historical invalid responses cannot be diagnosed retroactively. Separate chat QA awaits approval, and hosted CI was blocked before any test execution. The public Git marketplace is available; official OpenAI Directory approval and final launch acceptance remain open.
Jev Workflows 0.2.0 — release candidate 1
Jev Workflows 0.2.0 release candidate
An MIT-licensed Codex plugin for consulting TypeSafe Jev about tools, models, tasks, skills, context, strategies, custom choices, failures, and completion evidence. Bring your own TypeSafe API key. There are no plugin-imposed daily, byte, or session quotas by default.
Install the public Git marketplace:
codex plugin marketplace add integrate-your-mind/jev-codex-plugin
codex plugin add jev-workflows@jev-workflowsRequires Node.js 22+. The Codex archive is the prebuilt compatibility package; the portable archive includes the Agent Plugins source and development tools. Both package manifests use version 0.2.0. This release tag explicitly marks the distribution as a candidate.
Accounting now distinguishes local reservations, HTTP responses, validated evaluations, and unknown provider billing. It retains provider request identifiers and credential-scope attribution. Cached results reuse the original receipt.
Validation: 89 tests passed in the canonical source and again after a clean public-source install; typecheck, build and manifests passed. Two distribution tests passed. Native Codex success, failure, asynchronous, and remote GitHub-install checks passed. The remote native run retained an unvalidated HTTP 200 as unavailable rather than counting it as a validated evaluation. See the full verification report.
Open acceptance items: separate chat QA is waiting on approval; provider dashboard reconciliation remains unresolved; hosted CI was blocked before test execution. The Git marketplace is public, but this is not an approved OpenAI Plugins Directory listing. Jev assessments remain advisory and are not proof of execution or billing.
Checksums are in SHA256SUMS.
