Technical Implementation

PDF Processing

MaxiSign uses a hybrid approach for PDF processing:

  1. Client-side Processing: Uses the PDF-Lib library to embed images directly in the PDF within the browser
  2. Server-side Fallback: Automatically falls back to server-side processing if client-side operations fail
  3. Image Positioning: Preserves exact positioning, rotation, and scaling of images

User Interface

  • Responsive Design: Works on desktop and mobile devices
  • Dark/Light Mode: Support for different color themes
  • Drag and Drop: Intuitive interface for placing images
  • Grid Overlay: Optional grid for precise positioning
