🚀 Enhancements

  • Inline <code> spans in messages now render in a monospace font on the code background
  • R8 can now remove unused Intercom SDK classes from minified host apps — the SDK's consumer ProGuard rules no longer pin every class. Names and members of retained classes are unchanged, so reflection, Gson parsing and WebView bridges behave as before

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Fixed crash reports being attributed to Intercom when an Intercom frame merely appeared in a host-app crash's stack trace — attribution is now by throw site

👉 Note

  • The next major version of the Android SDK will be built with Kotlin 2.3 and will require apps to use a minimum Kotlin version of 2.0 due to binary compatibility
