BOM view for Part Assemblies

Hello,

Was the BOM view for Assemblies moved, or should we file a bug report?

Not able to find how to add or change the BOM now. Previously it was a menu item on the left row when selecting a Part.
Part Pricing->BOM Pricing still populates, and new Build Orders seem to function ok for existing assemblies.

We did upgrade over the weekend, which seemed to go ok otherwise.

(edit: Tried the demo site, but it is on 1.5.0 dev, and the UI there seems to only show a summary of the part)

Oversight on our part.
New permission added for BOM, just needed to modify group permissions.

Hi there,

The BOM view has not been removed, but its visibility depends on part configuration, permissions, or recent UI navigation updates. Before filing a bug report, please check the following:

1. "Assembly" Flag: Ensure the part still has the Assembly attribute checked (is_assembly = True). If a part is not explicitly marked as an assembly, the BOM menu item/tab is automatically hidden.
2. User Permissions: Verify that your user account or role has active BOM (view/change) permissions. Permission schemas can sometimes require a quick re-save or refresh after a major upgrade.
3. UI Restructuring: If you are using the newer UI interface, sub-navigation has shifted—look for the BOM tab along the main tab bar on the Part detail page rather than the legacy left sidebar.

If the part is confirmed to be an Assembly, you have full BOM permissions, and the tab is completely missing across all assembly parts, please file a bug report with your server version details and a screenshot so the maintainers can take a look.
