leftToRight switched?

The default value for leftToRight is set to false (side question: why? is more used by RTL readers?) in DefaultWebViewOptions, which makes the scrollbar appear on the left hand side.

If you change the value to true, then the scrollbar is shown on the right hand side, but then the toolbar Close and navigation switch positions.

For me it looks odd, as for a LTR language (leftToRight = true) the scrollbar should be on the right (correct) but the Close should be on the left?

Tested on iOS, don't know how it behaves on Android.

Hey @djibarian thanks for opening this issue, sorry for the late reply. This does seem to be a bug.

The leftToRight property is documented as:

Swaps the positions of the navigation buttons and the close button.

The property leftToRight makes sense to be false per those docs.

However, this same property also does changes on the actual layout direction being LTR or not, although differently for Android and iOS.

• For iOS, the LTR is applied as is - meaning by default the layout will appear RTL with scrollbar on the left.
• For Android, the actual position of the buttons change, and the direction is the negation of leftToRight property, and it does not apply to the whole webview - meaning the layout will always appear LTR with scrollbar on the right.

So for Android it kind of seems to be correct, and iOS could be updated to be like Android, but the property itself generates confusion, it would have been better for either the property to have a different name, or separate in leftToRight just to control layout direction, and swapToolbarButtons. We'll have to look into this further, this was just some notes to better understand what's happening.
