RSVP Nano v0.0.8

This release focuses on reader touch ergonomics and more resilient RSS downloads.

Highlights

  • Restricted the top-edge main menu gesture and bottom-edge quick settings gesture toward the
    center of the display, reducing accidental menu opens while adjusting WPM.
  • Added swipe-right Back navigation throughout menus, including text entry, so navigating back no
    longer depends on the hardware Back button.
  • Added a Reader controls display setting with a Rewind top-right layout for one-handed use.
  • Swapping Reader controls moves the rewind tap target and << hint to the top-right, while the
    battery label and tap target move to the top-left.
  • Exposed the Reader controls setting on device, in the device-hosted web companion, and in the
    shared native companion app.
  • Increased RSS feed and article size limits so longer full-text feed entries survive parsing.
  • RSS downloads can now accept usable partial feeds when complete items arrive before a slow feed
    times out.
  • Added parser coverage for complete items in partial feeds and long content:encoded article
    bodies.
