• Safer admin mode: Script asks for your password once and won’t leave any background process running after you quit.
• More reliable logging: Saves a copy of what it does to ~/maintenance.log (only if it can).
• Safer cleanup: Cleans your cache without using admin rights; also removes empty folders.
• Safer log handling: Doesn’t wipe system logs blindly—keeps what macOS needs, only trims big old files.
• DNS reset is sturdier: Tries both steps; if one fails, the script keeps going.
• Homebrew handling: If missing, it asks before installing and sets it up so it works right away.
• App Store tool (“mas”): Offers to install it (and installs Homebrew first if needed).
• Network check upgraded: Shows interfaces, routes, DNS, pings two IPs (so you can tell if it’s DNS or internet), and shows your public IP.
• Uninstall guard: Removing Homebrew now asks for confirmation first.
• Look & menus unchanged.
