CLIO Web Search 0.3.1 improves reliability for managed local and remote deployments.

Fixed

  • Container shutdown now terminates the service tree cleanly instead of leaving workers behind.
  • Search uses additional general-purpose engines when the original engines are rate-limited or blocked by CAPTCHA challenges.
  • Upstream search requests have bounded connection and response timeouts, so an unavailable engine cannot stall the service indefinitely.

This is the Web Search release pinned by CLIO Desktop and clio-agent 0.9.4.12.

CLIO Web Search 0.2.0

  • Renames the project, Python package, command, environment variables, data paths, and container image to CLIO Web Search.
  • Adds unified self-hosted SearXNG, Docling, and GROBID deployment documentation.
  • Adds Docker Compose, provider configuration, security guidance, MCP integration, and other-platform guidance.
  • Adds the project banner and adopts the MIT license.
