Qt console doesn't print tab

This command print('{}\t{}'.format('Hello', 'World')) doesn't output tabs but several spaces instead tabs.

Using IPython 2.1.0 on Windows

Oh, no, that's different. Previously qtconsole was able to insert hard tab character. #900. So, we have two contradicted issues.

Could the conversion to spaces be made optional somehow?
I sometimes want to keep the tabs for easier copying of tabular data into LibreOffice.
