Neither could happen on this extension's own screens, and nothing here changes; it is released so that every combination of extensions carries the corrected copy, whichever one a site happens to load it from.

• Changed: icons are now drawn directly into the page instead of being loaded as a font. A visitor's browser no longer downloads roughly 230 KB of stylesheet and font files just to show a few small pictures, and the icons can no longer clash with the icon font HivePress loads itself. • Added: every icon in the free Font Awesome 7 set is now available, brand icons included, which is around 800 more than before. Type a few letters to find one rather than scrolling a long list, and each result still shows you the icon itself.
• Changed: the settings screen loads a great deal faster, because the icon choices are fetched as you search instead of every one of them being written into the page.

Some explanatory comments in the settings screen's script were reworded to match the wording used across the rest of these extensions, so the file is easier to compare with its siblings. • Changed: the settings screen now carries the same furniture as every other extension in this family. The jump links are labelled "Jump to a section:" and stay with you as you scroll, a Save Changes tab sits on the right edge of the screen wherever you are on the page, and a button in the bottom corner takes you back to the top. If you have another of these extensions installed and it has already put one of those on the screen, this plugin leaves it alone, so you always see one of each rather than two. The quick links reuse the names WordPress already gives the section headings, so a link or a bookmark to a section keeps working.
• Changed: the colour pickers and the settings-screen styling are now loaded on the Trust Signals tab alone rather than on every HivePress settings tab, and the tab is recognised however you reach it, including from the plain HivePress > Settings menu link.

• Changed: the bundled icon set is the complete free one, so an icon can never be drawn in the wrong style. Nothing you can pick in the settings looked wrong before this.

• Added: the icon beside each signal can now be chosen, from HivePress's own icon list plus a set of newer Font Awesome and brand icons. The standard icons are unchanged, and newer choices load one shared stylesheet automatically - on pages where they actually render, and only if no other plugin from the same author has loaded it already.
• Added: icon size (as a percentage of the surrounding text) and icon weight (Normal, Semi-bold or Bold) settings. All icon options live in a new Icons section and appear only while Show icons is ticked, so Show icons and the existing Icon colour setting have moved there from General.
• Added: quick links at the top of the settings tab that jump to each section, with dividers between the sections, so the tab is no longer one long undifferentiated scroll.

• "View details" is back on the Plugins screen. WordPress only offers that link for a plugin that has told it about itself, and this one stayed quiet whenever there was nothing to update to, which is almost always. The details popup, its changelog and the donate link inside it were all unreachable from the Plugins screen as a result.
• Checking for updates no longer holds up an admin page. The check ran while WordPress was building the Plugins screen, so on a site with several of these extensions one page load made one request to GitHub after another and could sit there for many seconds, once, before behaving normally again for hours. The check now runs in the background moments later. Pressing Check for updates still asks GitHub straight away, because you are waiting for that answer.

• Checking for updates no longer reports "Could not reach GitHub" when nothing is wrong. GitHub allows one server only a limited number of anonymous update checks each hour, and that allowance is shared by every plugin on your site and, on shared hosting, by every other site on the same server. Running out of it is ordinary, but it was reported as though your site could not reach GitHub at all. Update checks now read the release from github.com, which sets no such limit, so the message no longer appears. If the limit is ever reached by another route, the notice now says so plainly instead of blaming your connection.
• A failed update check no longer hides an update that is genuinely waiting. The last successful answer is kept until a later check succeeds, so a pending update stays on the Plugins screen instead of vanishing for an hour.
• Update checks no longer send your site's address and WordPress version to GitHub. They now identify only the plugin, matching the rest of the range.

Nothing else changes, and nothing on your site was ever at risk: a failed check only meant WordPress was not offered the update.

• Your settings and the activity figures built up for each vendor are now kept when the plugin is deleted. A new "Delete All Data" tickbox under Removing the Plugin is the only thing that erases them, and it is off unless you turn it on. Previously deleting the plugin always wiped everything, including each vendor's completed bookings total, which cannot be rebuilt.
• A "Donate" link on the Plugins screen and in the plugin details popup, for anyone who would like to support the work. It appears nowhere else and gates nothing.

Fixed

• The author link on the Plugins screen pointed at a page that no longer resolves.

Changed: the GitHub updater now uses WordPress's native update mechanism (the update_plugins hostname API introduced in 5.8) for tighter integration and reliability. No action is needed — updates continue to appear on the Plugins screen and via the Check for updates link.
