v3.4.5

@github-actions github-actions released this 03 Sep 22:51

= 3.4.5 =

  • Fixed: updating two of these extensions one after the other could fail on the second with "up to date" until Check for updates was pressed again. WordPress rebuilds its update list after each update by asking wordpress.org first, and gives up on the whole list when that call is slow; the plugin now keeps its own update in the list regardless.
  • Changed: a release found more than an hour ago is refreshed in the background whenever the Plugins screen is opened, so the newest release is offered rather than an intermediate one.
  • New: a Check for updates bulk action on the Plugins screen, which checks every selected extension in one go, and the row that says Updating no longer shrinks on phones.

v3.4.4

@github-actions github-actions released this 03 Sep 18:49

3.4.4

Changed

  • The counter mirrored into the WooCommerce account menu is now the same 24px circle with bold 12px text as the counters in the HivePress account menus, so every counter in the menu reads as one family.

v3.4.3

@github-actions github-actions released this 02 Sep 22:00

3.4.3

Changed

  • On the settings tab the help icon now sits directly after each label, and its tooltip opens to the right at full width instead of being cut into a narrow strip to the left. The same placement is used across every extension in this family.

v3.4.2

@github-actions github-actions released this 02 Sep 20:32

3.4.2

Fixed

  • Typing an item's label could draw a broken glyph beside the card's icon, the same fault found in Action Bar. The shared icon library is updated to the version that fixes it.

@github-actions github-actions released this 02 Sep 16:40

Account Menu Enhancer for HivePress 3.4.1

Fixed: choosing an icon for a menu item or custom item no longer changes other rows' icons when you save. In 3.4.0 an item with no icon of its own took the icon of the item above it the next time the page was saved, and a newly picked icon showed as the previous one, enlarged, until the page was reloaded.

If 3.4.0 changed any of your icons, open the Account Menu tab, set the affected rows back to what you want, and save once.

3.4.0 has been withdrawn. Everything else it introduced — every Font Awesome icon available, icons drawn from their own shape with no font download on the front end, and the User Switching link kept out of the HivePress menu — is unchanged in this release.

v3.3.14

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 31 Aug 10:53

3.3.14

  • Changed: the older entries in this changelog have moved to changelog.txt, which ships with the plugin. WordPress only shows the first 5,000 characters of a changelog on the update screen, and this one had grown well past that, so recent releases were being cut off before you could read them. Nothing has been removed.

v3.3.13

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 31 Aug 10:45

3.3.13

  • Fixed: the unread counters in the account menus now sit a small, even distance from the wording they belong to. In menus your theme lays out as a row the counter was pushed to the far right, away from its own item, and in the account dropdown it sat flush against the last letter with no gap at all. Both now match the spacing HivePress uses itself.

v3.3.12

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 30 Aug 22:29

3.3.12

  • Added: an "Also Hidden from the WooCommerce Menu" setting, which takes a menu item out of the WooCommerce account menu while leaving it in the HivePress account menu. The existing Hidden Items setting is unchanged and still hides an item from both menus, so nothing you have already saved behaves differently. The Live preview panel shows both menus separately whenever the two now differ.
  • Fixed: the Live preview panel named a menu item the way the settings dropdowns name it rather than the way your site renders it, showing "Orders (WooCommerce)" where members see "Placed Orders". The panel now draws the wording each menu actually rendered, which can differ between the two menus for the same page. The dropdowns keep their wording, where it tells two similar destinations apart.

v3.3.11

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 30 Aug 21:31

3.3.11

  • Changed: internal tidying only, with no change to how anything looks or behaves. The settings screen was being sent a copy of your saved menu arrangement that nothing used, because the live preview reads the arrangement from the page itself so that it follows you as you drag. The unused copy has been removed.

v3.3.10

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 30 Aug 21:22

3.3.10

  • Fixed: the Placed Orders item, which HivePress adds to the account menu once a member has an order, appeared at the very bottom of the menu on sites where the menu order had been arranged. It now sits in its proper place, and the same applies to the Subscriptions item.
  • Fixed: Placed Orders and Subscriptions are now shown in the Live preview panel, where they can be dragged into any position you like. They were missing from the preview whenever the WooCommerce integration was switched off, so the preview disagreed with the menu your members actually saw.
  • Changed: a menu item that appears after you have arranged your menu is now placed in the position its own extension gives it, rather than being added below every item you arranged. Your own arrangement is unchanged.
