Threadbox for Codex is a local, cross-platform desktop manager for Codex task history.

Highlights

  • Search and filter active and archived tasks across all working directories.
  • Archive, unarchive, pin when supported, and permanently delete tasks through the official Codex App Server.
  • Batch operations with protected-task checks, parent/child cascade deduplication, progress, and per-item results.
  • English and Simplified Chinese UI with system light/dark themes.
  • Sandboxed Electron renderer, no telemetry, no model calls, and no direct SQLite or JSONL edits.

Requirements

Codex CLI 0.149.0 or newer must be installed separately and available on PATH, through CODEX_BINARY, or selected in Settings.

Unsigned Builds

This first release is unsigned. Windows SmartScreen and macOS Gatekeeper may show warnings; verify the files against SHA256SUMS.txt before running them. See the README for platform-specific instructions.
