Chain relaunch: irishub-2, built from a verified irishub-1 state export at height 37242247 (first new-chain block: 37242248). This is not an in-place upgrade: all nodes must start from the published genesis with the v4.1.0 binary. Validator guide: scripts/chain-recovery/VALIDATOR-MIGRATION.md.

State Machine Breaking

  • (IRISHub) New chain irishub-2; irishub-1 state after height 37242247 is not carried over.
  • (IRISHub) IBC/TIBC state (07-tendermint, ibc, transfer, interchainaccounts, nonfungibletokentransfer, tibc) reset to fresh defaults; all cross-chain connections must be re-established.
  • (IRISHub) Minimal genesis sanitizations: bank denom_metadata display fields normalized (balances untouched); gov expedited_min_deposit raised to 25000 iris; unreachable EVM accounts pruned; total_liquid_staked_tokens realigned.
  • (IRISHub) Preserved as-is: EVM contracts/storage, NFTs, MTs, accounts/balances (uiris supply 2156713998266827), 38 bonded validators (keys unchanged), distribution rewards, 3 tokenize-share records.

Features

  • (IRISHub) New iris genesis replace-validators helper for local simulation launches from exported genesis.
  • (IRISHub) Memory-bounded export flow (scripts/chain-recovery/export-genesis.sh); export skips the IAVL fastnode rewrite, so multi-TB data dirs no longer OOM.

Improvements

  • (IRISMod) Bump token module to v2.0.0: MsgIssueToken rejected with ErrIssueTokenDisabled; hardened symbol/min-unit uniqueness checks; fixed SwapFeeToken min-unit resolution and ERC20 auto-deploy validation.
  • (IRISHub) Corrected IBC/ICA/transfer keeper authorities to the gov module address; fixed TIBC MT transfer keeper to use its own store key.

Action Required

All validators: use binary v4.1.0, reuse your irishub-1 priv_validator_key.json. 16GB machines must apply the documented memory tuning for the first Commit (~15–18GB peak, one-time).
