Installation

Download the .deb for your device: arm64 for ARM boards (Jetson, Orange Pi, Raspberry Pi and similar), amd64 for x86 machines. Then install it:

sudo dpkg -i srtla_*_arm64.deb

The package installs /usr/bin/srtla_send. It runs on any Linux distribution with glibc 2.27 or newer, which includes Ubuntu 18.04 and Debian 10 and later.

Verify the download against sha256sums.txt:

sha256sum --check --ignore-missing sha256sums.txt

Upgrade notes

--config files now take effect, and srtla_send is strict about them:

• srtla_send refuses to start if the file has an unknown key or does not parse. The file accepts six keys, one per command line option: mode, no_quality, no_stall_deselect, stall_min_in_flight, stall_ack_stale_ms and conn_timeout_ms. Remove any other keys before you upgrade.
• A key in the file applies when the same option is not set on the command line.
• srtla_send reads the file once at startup. SIGHUP does not reload it; use the JSON-RPC control socket for runtime changes.
