elekloader 0.2.0

A mod loader for Elektron firmware. You pick mods and supply the stock OS file Elektron publishes for your device. elekloader builds a custom OS file on your own machine, and you flash it the way you flash any OS update.

• Nothing from Elektron is distributed. A mod (.elemod) carries only its author's bytes, plus hashes of the stock bytes it expects.
• The bootloader is never touched. Every output is re-read and verified before it is written, so the stock OS file always recovers the device.
• Mods are checked against each other before anything is built: overlapping bytes, memory, named resources and requirements.

Supported: Digitakt (mk1), OS 1.53. Python 3.9 or newer, nothing else to install:

New in 0.2.0

• The .elemod format. Files from before it, .dtmod, still load.
• Tools for mod authors: the SDK (python -m elekloader.sdk.build: sources to .elemod), python -m elekloader.lint, and docs/ADAPTING.md, with rules, commands, every refusal and its fix, and a definition of done.
• The core mod's sources in mods/core. Core is the boot copier and the hook bus every linkable mod needs. It is attached here, built.

Checked alone in digikit's emulator, with a cold boot through the real bootloader. Its screens and audio are identical to stock's; only where the recording ends moves, by one silent 1 ms block.

• digihealth: FAST AUDIO (a lower DSP load, the same audio) and SYSTEM INFO.
