Changes in v0.2.1

Security & Governance

  • Spec Drift Protection: Specification approvals now record SHA-256 hashes and snapshot pointers. Adapter handoffs strictly read approved snapshots. Modifying PROJECT_SPEC.md post-approval triggers an audit event, reverts state to REVIEW, and blocks execution until re-approved.
  • Adapter Policy Enforcement: Deny-by-default policies are now actively enforced in CLI adapters. Claude Code is restricted to Read,Edit (Bash disabled by default), and Antigravity drops --dangerously-skip-permissions unless high-risk operations are explicitly permitted by policy.
  • Hardened Credential Redaction: Redaction now preserves quoted strings with spaces, detects standalone high-entropy token shapes (GitHub PATs, AWS Access Keys, OpenAI/Anthropic keys, JWTs, and PEM private keys), and eliminates false positives on natural prose.
  • Verification Command Safety: Added execution timeouts (default 300s) and proper lifecycle transitions (VERIFYING / COMPLETED) to yuntra verify.

Improvements & Performance

  • Fast Context Retrieval: Optimized file traversal using os.walk with in-place directory pruning (node_modules, dist, .archify, .venv, .git), reducing scan overhead on real-world repositories.
  • Context Budget Truncation: Switched to clean line-boundary truncation.
  • Cross-Platform Directories: Uses XDG_DATA_HOME / ~/.local/share/yuntra on Linux/macOS.

Tests & Hygiene

  • Added tests/test_security.py (credential edge cases & prose).
  • Added tests/test_cli.py (Typer CliRunner happy path coverage).
  • Added tests for spec drift, adapter policy enforcement, and Zip Slip path traversal rejection.
  • Added PEP 561 py.typed marker.
  • Test suite expanded from 32 to 43 passing tests.

yuntra v0.2.0 - Interactive Architecture & Sequence Diagramming

What's New in v0.2.0

1. Interactive Architecture & Sequence Diagramming (Phase 8)

  • Native Archify Integration: Added a new first-class yuntra diagram command group to generate and inspect interactive architecture and sequence diagrams directly from project specifications.
  • New CLI Subcommands:
    • yuntra diagram health: Verify Archify and Node.js installation health.
    • yuntra diagram generate <project>: Compile interactive diagrams into .archify/ (e.g. cache-aside web request flow across Browser $\rightarrow$ API $\rightarrow$ Redis $\rightarrow$ PostgreSQL).
    • yuntra diagram list <project>: Discover and list all diagrams in the repository.
    • yuntra diagram show <project>: View local file paths and browser URLs for diagram inspection.
  • Rich Visual Traces: Generated diagrams are self-contained HTML artifacts featuring live step-through trace playback, component inspection cards, and light/dark mode toggles.

2. Expanded Test Suite & Local Quality Gates

  • Automated Tests: Expanded unit test coverage from 27 to 32 automated tests with 100% pass rate.
  • Strict Quality Verification:
    • black: Formatted cleanly across all 21 files.
    • ruff: Zero lint violations.
    • mypy: Strict type checking passed across all 20 source modules.

3. Repository Cleanup & Tooling Hygiene

  • Removed redundant sample fixtures to maintain a minimal, clutter-free repository.
  • Added tool caches (.pytest_cache/, .mypy_cache/, .ruff_cache/) to .gitignore to prevent workspace pollution.
  • Updated README.md with complete Phase 8 documentation, workflow guides, and tool references.
