The new name is what was used in MISOMIP2.
The log carried trailing spaces in several places: the " \n" idiom for a blank line, the "XXX Tests \n" section headings, a few header lines, and two findings whose message text ended in a space. Editors that strip trailing whitespace on save silently rewrite the reference logs, and the golden-log comparison then fails on a difference no one made. None of that whitespace was visible in the log, so removing it changes nothing a reader sees. Leading spaces are untouched: the "\n " writes that indent the experiment banners stay as they are. The stored references already have the whitespace stripped, so they need no update. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
