Fixed

  • TextArea and CodeEditor now build on Tk versions that do not recognize the X11 reverse-tab key. Previously, creating on some builds of Python for Windows, including uv installs, raised a bad event type or keysym "ISO_Left_Tab". Now Shift + Tab works the same as before on every platform. (#520)
  • The mouse wheel now steps a NumberField or SpinnerField only while it has keyboard focus, as documented. Previously, scrolling past a field changed its value, stopped a surrounding ScrollView from scrolling, and the wheel over a SpinnerField stepped whichever field had focus. (#525)
  • A tab now resizes to fit a new label. Previously, renaming a tab whose first label was short left it at its original width, cutting off the new text; renaming a long one to a short one allowed it to shrink below the minimum tab width. (#521)
