Fixed

  • A destroyed TextArea or CodeEditor now releases everything it registered when destroyed. Previously its mouse-wheel handling and text editing hooks stayed alive for the life of the process, accumulating with every editor created. (#488)
  • A value typed into a Select with allow_custom_values=True now takes the type its options share. When every option value is an int, or every one a float, numeric text is read as that type, so value compares equal to the options and a range rule judges the number. Previously the typed text stayed a string, so value == 6 was False and every range rule reported it invalid. Text that is not a number, and a Select whose options are strings, mixed, or empty, are unchanged. If you compared a typed value against its text, compare against the number. (#468)
  • An open ContextMenu now closes when you click a DataTable row that has selection checkboxes, or right-click a Tree row or tick its selection checkbox. Previously the row consumed the click and the menu stayed open until you pressed Escape or clicked somewhere else. When the right-clicked Tree row opened its own menu, both menus stayed open. Windows and Linux only; macOS menus were not affected. (#207)
