StreamwearsIRL Android 3.3 (Beta)
StreamwearsIRL Android 3.3 beta
Download Streamwears.apk. Android 12 or later. Install over your existing Streamwears release to keep saved connections.
- Instagram manual setup: Accounts → Instagram accepts your username plus the Live Producer stream URL and key. Start sending video from Streamwears, then confirm Go live in Instagram Live Producer. End there too. A fresh key is required for the next broadcast.
- Update notifications: install this version once and allow notifications. Later published APK releases appear through automatic checks (about hourly and when opened), with a direct download action. Settings includes a manual check. Checks pause during LIVE; Android sleep/battery management/offline devices may delay alerts. Older versions cannot notify until updated once.
- Facebook destination picker: choose an authorized profile or Page from your connected account.
- Selfie PiP: optional front-camera overlay while streaming from Meta glasses; back+front requires concurrent-camera support. Camera failure leaves the main broadcast running.
- Capture settings: changing glasses quality/frame rate/source refreshes preview capture.
TikTok, Facebook Live, Kick and Twitch continue using account sign-in without manual stream keys. Instagram uses manual Live Producer credentials. Saved valid sessions are reused.
This APK uses the original Streamwears release signing certificate. SHA256SUMS.txt identifies this exact download. The beta still requires physical-phone/glasses and provider-account validation for end-to-end video, sound, chat, PiP and network recovery. No zero-frame-drop or universal latency guarantee is claimed.

Testing status and current limits
Debug/release builds and all eight policy tests pass. Android lint reports zero errors; the optimized app installs and launches in an Android 36 emulator.
Physical Android phone/glasses broadcasting and authenticated provider LIVE sessions still need real-device validation. This is a beta, not a guarantee of uninterrupted streaming or complete iOS feature parity. Meta device authorization and platform LIVE eligibility still apply.
Instagram requires a stream URL and key in the iOS beta; Instagram manual setup is not yet included in Android. Store billing, selfie picture-in-picture and full Facebook target selection are also not included in this Android build.
Install release updates over an existing app signed with the same release key to retain local connections. The separately shared debug/test APK uses a different signing identity and cannot replace a release installation directly. Contact support before uninstalling an existing app.
