➕ Added

  • New Tool: "Create device-link profile" (Tools menu). Builds an ICC
device-link from a source profile (sRGB, AdobeRGB, ProPhoto…) and your printer
profile, baking the gamut mapping in up front — apply it later in Photoshop's
Convert to Profile or a RIP for repeatable colour across a print series.
    Wraps ArgyllCMS collink.
    • Friendly presets for rendering style, viewing conditions and quality, with
an info (ⓘ) explanation on every option.
    • Expert section (collapsible): optimise the mapping for one specific
image (via tiffgamut), abstract "tweak" profile, bake-in calibration,
3DLUT export (.cube / eeColor / MadVR), inverse-table gamut mode, and forced
      white point.
    • ICC v4 sources are converted to v2 automatically (Argyll only reads v2)
for standard matrix RGB profiles; the converted copy is a temp file removed
after the link is built. Non-convertible v4 profiles get a clear message.

Installation (Linux, beta): Download the tarball for your architecture (x86_64 for most desktops/laptops, aarch64 for ARM systems like Raspberry Pi 4/5). Extract with tar xzf ChromIQ-Linux-*.tar.gz, then run ./ChromIQ/ChromIQ. Requires ArgyllCMS — install via your package manager (sudo apt install argyll) or from argyllcms.com/downloadlinux.html.
