➕ Added

  • Device-link Tool — image-optimised gamut mapping (from backtomarfa's testing, #99):
    • Optimise for specific images now takes a set of images (add/remove
list) and builds one shared source gamut — map a whole exhibition series
identically, not just a single picture.
    • New Image-gamut detail control (tiffgamut -f popularity filter) to
trade off holding the main colours' saturation vs. preserving every
      gradation.
    • The image gamut is now built in CIECAM02 appearance space (-pj) with
the link's own viewing conditions, so it actually lines up with the
perceptual gamut mapping — the reason a source-image gamut can now bite.
    • Rendering style gains collink's finer gamut-mapping intents, including
Luminance-preserving perceptual, which often suits matte fine-art paper.

🔧 Changed

  • Device-link help text now explains the Photoshop step in full: turn on
Advanced in Convert to Profile (device-links only appear there), pick it
under Device Link, and print with the printer's colour management off.
  • The loaded-images list is taller and shows just the file name (full path on hover).
  • All new device-link strings translated into the 12 UI languages.

Installation: Open the DMG, drag ChromIQ to Applications, eject, then launch.

ChromIQ is ad-hoc signed (not notarized). On macOS Sonoma+ the right-click → Open trick often fails with "Apple cannot check it for malicious software." If that happens, remove the quarantine flag in Terminal:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/ChromIQ.app

Then double-click as normal.

Requires macOS 12+ and ArgyllCMS 3.5.0 at /Applications/Argyll/bin.
