A Windows fix: no more flashing command windows.
Fixed
- Windows: command windows flashed open for a moment while ChromIQ worked (forum report). Right after choosing Run type Verification, and in several other places (From Profile Gamut, Build Profile, the quality check, starting a measurement, the ArgyllCMS test in Preferences, the 3D patch distribution), every ArgyllCMS tool ChromIQ started opened its own black console window for a split second, up to dozens in a row. ChromIQ now starts these tools without a window, as it already did for the tools whose output it shows in the log. Everything works as before.
Installation (Linux, beta): Download the tarball for your architecture (x86_64 for most desktops/laptops, aarch64 for ARM systems like Raspberry Pi 4/5). Extract with tar xzf ChromIQ-Linux-*.tar.gz, then run ./ChromIQ/ChromIQ. Requires ArgyllCMS — install via your package manager (sudo apt install argyll) or from argyllcms.com/downloadlinux.html.
