1.0.0 — material_ui migration

Version 1.0.0 migrates the package to Flutter’s official standalone material_ui library. Country data, phone parsing, validation, formatting, and PhoneNumber behavior are unchanged from 0.1.2.

Breaking changes

• Requires Dart 3.12 / Flutter 3.44 or newer.
• Apps must use package:material_ui/material_ui.dart, including the surrounding MaterialApp/Scaffold and Material types passed into the field or picker.
• Removes the deprecated countries.dart, phone_number.dart, country_picker_dialog.dart, and helpers.dart import shims. Use the package barrel import.
• Removes IntlPhoneField.searchText; use localizations.searchHint.

Contributor credit

Thanks to Erik Rill (@codivo-erill) for PR #23: the Material migration, compatibility documentation, and minimum-SDK CI coverage. The merge preserves all six original contributor commits.

Validation

• All 179 tests passed locally on Flutter 3.47.2.
• PR CI passed on Flutter 3.44.0 with both lowest dependencies (material_ui 1.0.0) and default dependencies (material_ui 1.2.0), and Flutter stable 3.47.6.
• Formatting and fatal-info analysis passed; clean package publication dry run reported zero warnings.
• Example web release build succeeded with the MaterialIcons font bundled. Native builds were not run during this audit.
