itzCut Desktop v2.1.0

New Features & Improvements

  • Strict File Validation & Security: Automatically rejects non-media files (e.g., PNG, JPG, PDF, EXE) with instant notifications and selective file filtering.
  • Full .MOV Support & Proxy Previews: Ensures compatibility with Apple ProRes, PCM audio, and professional media formats through ultra-fast automatic proxy generation for smooth, lag-free previews.
  • Dedicated Audio Trimmer with Waveform: When an audio file is imported (.mp3, .wav, .flac, .aac, .ogg, .m4a), the app automatically enables an interactive, real-time audio waveform player with In/Out selection and Gain Boost controls.
  • True Audio Converter: Exports audio with dedicated encoding profiles, including MP3 VBR High, WAV PCM 48 kHz, lossless FLAC, AAC, OGG Vorbis, and Opus.
  • Integrated Auto-Updater: Instantly checks for updates on startup and silently downloads them in the background.
  • Lightweight Web Installer: A fast, lightweight itzCut-Setup.exe installer (~200 KB), perfect for sharing via Discord and the web.
