Version 1.0 - Initial Release

Welcome to the first official release of Interactive Python Chess! This is a lightweight, fully functional 2D chess game built entirely from scratch using Python's standard tkinter library.

🛠️ Quick Start
Ensure you have Python installed on your system.
Download the release source code files.
Ensure the pieces-basic-png folder is located in the exact same directory as chess.py.
Open your terminal or command prompt and run:
python chess.py
