Acting like a visitor

Good day,

Me and and my son have been enjoying your work for some time now, all works well.
Till today where he logged in and he was unable to break and place blocks, just as if he is a visitor.
I tried as well, same result, we are both in the permissions.json as OP though:

server.properties has:
default-player-permission-level=visitor
But on the bottom of this post you can see it does know I'm OP:

I restarted the Docker first and then the NAS (QNAP) without effect. We are both running client version v1.16.50 (IOS) which you tested on your Iphone in the other " Isseu".
All was fine for a month, I did run the following last week as we suddenly had a portal standing at some random place and we wanted to go home:
gamerule showcoordinates true
I did reverse it (false) and restarted, still nothing though.

Any help would be appreciated, I browsed the internet and closed issues, but can not find any pointers.
Please let me know when additional info is required.

Hmm, I was going to suggest running the op command to see if it would re-add your users, but I see that it rejected your attempt to do that. I don't have any other ideas so far.

Found it, well a friend did....
Apparently one of us turned on adventure mode which prevents you from removing and adding blocks. Easy when you know the reason but wanted to document it for others.
