What's new in 1.1

• Verification codes. When a text message — or KakaoTalk on Android — brings a 4–8 digit code, your phone sends
  just the code. Your other devices ask "A verification code arrived from Galaxy S25. Copy it?" with Copy and
  Not now. Nothing is pasted on its own, and the message stays on your phone.
  • Android: on by default, with notification access asked for during setup. Android 15 and later hide codes from
    apps until you allow it once: Settings › Verification codes does it with Shizuku, or shows the one adb command.
  • iPhone: iOS doesn't let apps read messages, so you connect a Shortcuts automation to the new Send Verification
    Code action once. Settings › Verification codes walks you through it.
  • The Mac asks in a capsule and Windows in a toast (even with arrival notices off); Android shows a notification or a
    banner, the iPhone a banner.
• No more echo loops. When the same content lands on the clipboard again — Phone Link or Universal Clipboard putting
  back what Nearclip wrote, or a screenshot tool writing a bitmap and then a PNG — Nearclip doesn't send it again, and
  history keeps it as one clip.
• Pause, clearly. Pausing sync stops the remote connection too, and the apps now say Paused there instead of
  spinning on Starting….
• Windows images. Images copied as CF_DIBV5 with colour masks no longer come out shifted by a few rows.

Good to know

• The devices that receive codes need 1.1 as well: 1.0 treats a code as ordinary text and copies it right away.
• Checked for this release: the engine tests (Swift 18, Kotlin 29, C# 47), the 48-case interop suite, and
  verification-code acceptance runs on Windows, macOS, an Android 16 emulator receiving an SMS, and the iOS simulator.
  Real phones were not part of this pass. Please report anything odd.

1.1에서 달라진 점

• 인증번호 전달. 문자(Android는 카카오톡 포함)로 4~8자리 인증번호가 오면 휴대폰이 번호만 보내고, 다른 기기는
  "Galaxy S25에서 인증번호가 도착했어요! 복사할까요?"라고 물어요. 복사를 눌러야 복사되고, 메시지는 휴대폰에 그대로 남아요.
  • Android: 기본으로 켜져 있고, 처음 설정에서 알림 접근 권한을 요청해요. Android 15 이상은 앱이 인증번호를 보지 못하게 가리므로
    설정 › 인증번호에서 Shizuku로 한 번 허용하거나, 안내되는 adb 명령을 한 번 실행하면 돼요.
  • iPhone: iOS는 앱이 문자를 읽을 수 없어서, 단축어 자동화에 새 인증번호 보내기 동작을 한 번 연결해요. 설정 › 인증번호에서 안내해요.
  • Mac은 캡슐, Windows는 토스트로 물어요(도착 알림을 꺼 둬도 표시). Android는 알림이나 배너, iPhone은 배너로 보여줘요.
• 무한 복사 해결. 휴대폰과 연결(Phone Link)이나 유니버설 클립보드가 Nearclip이 쓴 내용을 클립보드에 다시 넣거나, 캡처 도구가
  같은 이미지를 두 번 써도 다시 보내지 않아요. 기록에서도 하나로 묶여요.
• 일시정지 표시. 동기화를 일시정지하면 원격 연결도 함께 멈추고, "준비 중…"에서 계속 도는 대신 "일시정지됨"으로 표시돼요.
• Windows 이미지. 색 마스크가 붙은 CF_DIBV5 형식으로 복사한 이미지가 몇 줄 밀려 보이던 문제를 고쳤어요.

받는 기기도 1.1이어야 "복사할까요?"가 떠요. 1.0은 인증번호를 일반 텍스트로 받아 바로 복사해요. 이번에는 실제 휴대폰 대신
에뮬레이터·시뮬레이터와 Windows VM에서 확인했어요. 이상한 점은 알려주세요.

What's in 1.0

• Text, links, colors and images (up to 32 MB) sync in real time between every pair of devices — Mac ↔ Windows,
  Android ↔ Mac, iPhone ↔ Windows, any combination.
• Big images show Receiving an image from … with the size and a progress bar on the other devices the moment you copy.
• One shared history on every device: search, filters, pin, delete everywhere; catch-up on the last 7 days.
• Pairing with a QR code or a 6-digit code — no account. Mesh sync between all devices.
• Optional Remote connection across networks through a Tailscale node built into every app (free Tailscale account).
• Password-manager items are never synced; ignore apps on computers; pause anytime.
• macOS menu bar app (⌃⌘V), Windows tray app (Win+Alt+V), Android with background receive, Quick Settings tile, Share,
  text selection and optional instant capture with Shizuku; iPhone with the Paste button. Light and dark, English and Korean.

Good to know

• Without Remote connection, devices need to be on the same local network (guest Wi-Fi that isolates devices: use
  Connect by address).
• iOS syncs while Nearclip is open and catches up instantly when you open it. Android 10+ needs a tap to send unless you
  turn on instant capture with Shizuku.
• Not verified in this release: real phones and a real Windows PC in the final pass, and two genuinely different
  networks for Remote connection. Please report anything odd.
