Parallel installations and support for multiple instances
This release was designed to support the simultaneous installation of multiple applications by running multiple instances of AM.
With the arrival of release 10.5, AM gained the ability to install applications via the "Install" buttons found in the catalog at https://portable-linux-apps.github.io.
However, a problem arose when a user (in a rush to install multiple apps at once) clicked several buttons in quick succession. This caused conflicts that led to the failure of installations already in progress.
This release permanently resolves the issue!

Not only is it possible to install applications from multiple instances, but you can also monitor their progress (specifically their size, version is set as "pending") while viewing the list of installed apps (using the -f option) or while updating other apps (using the -u option).
Naturally, the primary focus remains usage with the https://portable-linux-apps.github.io catalog, as this represents the most obvious application of this feature. Users are therefore urged to exercise great caution and remain fully aware of the actions they are performing when running multiple command-line instances.
Here is a typical use case for running multiple instances of AM:

This is a momentous change that rewrites core functionalities, making AM more flexible.
3000 AppImages!!!
As you can see from the above video, at the time of writing this, the catalog has reached a total of 3,594 unique applications, comprising 3,000 AppImage packages and 594 programs in other formats (scripts, static/dynamic binaries, etc.).
