The first time you open it

The app is not code-signed yet, so your computer objects once and then never again.

• Windows — click More info, then Run anyway.
• macOS — open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down, and press
  Open Anyway. The Mac download works on both Apple Silicon and Intel.

Before you start

Your photos are copied, never moved. The folder you point the app at is never
changed, so nothing can be lost. Press F1 inside the app to see every key.

New in this version

Faster, especially on a whole meeting. Nothing new to learn: every key and every
suggestion works as it did.

Recognition is quicker, and finds exactly what it found before. It was checked to
find the very same motorcycles on every photograph and clip of a meeting before it went
in. On a computer with eight or more processors it also works on four threads rather
than two. The grouping pass (Shift+G) gets through about twice as much of a job in
the same time.

While the grouping pass looks, a clip loading no longer holds up the photographs
behind it.

A clip is looked at five times, as the handbook says. The first of its five frames
came out black whenever the clip had not been opened before, so recognition was really
looking at four.

Filing in the album browser brings its marks back in about half a second with a
meeting's worth of photographs filed, where it took most of a minute; and moving
through a large pile no longer waits on every key.

A job opens faster, and less is written to the drive. A filing is still saved
within half a second; where you are, within five seconds; what the albums have
learned, at most every half minute — and always on switching, closing or quitting.

What the albums have learned is saved again if Windows refused to write it, rather
than being left off the disk until something else changed.

Earlier: every copy is forced to the disk before it takes its name; Croatian
throughout; you can see copies landing; everything can be made bigger or smaller; the
two safeguards say when they are off; three keys go backwards; previews for one album;
F1 lists every key; the window opens where you left it; clips are sorted alongside
photographs; the whole job can be sorted into piles with Shift+G; the app offers a
rider's number once you have filed them; bursts select themselves; and
Ctrl/Cmd+E makes watermarked previews.
