Welcome to the official CobbleHorizons Wiki.
CobbleHorizons is a Minecraft 1.21.1 modpack built around Cobblemon, focused on exploration, Pokémon progression, trainers, gyms, legendary encounters and an immersive Pokémon adventure.
This wiki contains information about installation, gameplay, progression, configuration and troubleshooting.
New to CobbleHorizons? Start here:
CobbleHorizons is distributed primarily through Modrinth.
- Install the Modrinth App.
- Install CobbleHorizons.
- Launch the modpack.
- Create a new world.
- Choose your starter Pokémon.
- Begin your adventure.
Creating a new world is recommended to ensure all structures and world-generation features are generated correctly.

CobbleHorizons comes preconfigured and optimized for a plug-and-play experience.
Explore the world and encounter Pokémon through Cobblemon.
Build your team, train your Pokémon and discover species across different biomes and environments.
Pokémon Trainers can be found throughout your adventure.
Challenge them to battles and use them to prepare your team for more difficult encounters.
Discover Pokémon Gyms while exploring the world.
Challenge Gym Leaders and collect badges as part of your progression.
Mega Evolution is available through the additional progression systems included in CobbleHorizons.
Explore, battle and obtain the resources required to unlock powerful Mega Evolutions.
Legendary and Mythical Pokémon are intended to be special discoveries rather than ordinary encounters.
Explore the world, discover monuments and structures, and investigate the myths surrounding rare Pokémon.
Pokémon breeding is available and has been configured as part of the CobbleHorizons progression system.
TMs and TRs allow you to expand and customize your Pokémon movesets throughout your adventure.
CobbleHorizons significantly expands exploration.
You can discover:

- Expanded terrain and biomes
The world also includes a minimap, world map and Waystones to make long-distance exploration easier.
CobbleHorizons includes several performance optimizations and comes with recommended settings already configured.
Shaders are supported but are disabled by default to provide good performance across a wider range of hardware.
Players with capable hardware can enable the included shader support manually.
CobbleHorizons 1.0.0 has been developed and tested primarily for singleplayer.
Multiplayer compatibility is not currently guaranteed.
If you experience a problem:
- Make sure you are using the official CobbleHorizons version.
- Avoid manually updating individual mods.
- Avoid adding or removing mods before reproducing the problem.
- Restart the game and reproduce the issue.
- Save the latest Minecraft log.
- Report the issue through GitHub Issues.
When reporting a problem, include:
- CobbleHorizons version
- What you were doing when the problem occurred
- Steps to reproduce it
- Crash report, if available
