Bug-fix release. Disk analysis behavior, the Normal / Advanced safety model and the distribution format are unchanged from v1.0.0.

Fixed

  • Stale folder tree after refresh. Refresh no longer lets an older asynchronous folder result overwrite the newer scan tree, so deleted or moved files no longer reappear and folder totals no longer revert to the previous scan.
  • App icon sizes. disk-insight-ui.exe now embeds the disk-insight icon at the standard Windows sizes (16–256 px), so the taskbar, window title bar and Explorer show a properly sized icon. v1.0.0 embedded only a single 32×32 image.
  • CLI diagnostic error label. The developer CLI (disk-insight.exe) printed a garbled label instead of エラー: when --diag-path failed. The CLI is built from source and is not included in the release ZIP, so this does not affect the downloaded app.

Build

  • The release exe no longer embeds build-machine source paths (cargo registry / project directory) in its panic-location strings.

  • disk-insight-v1.0.1-windows-x64.zip — portable, no installer. Contains disk-insight-ui.exe, README.md, LICENSE, SECURITY-OVERVIEW.md, BUILD-INFO.txt and SHA256SUMS.txt.
  • Windows 10 or later, x64. Run as Administrator for full NTFS MFT scan access.
  • The executable is not code-signed and may trigger SmartScreen.
  • No network communication, no telemetry, no auto-updater.
