Tether 2.2.3
Tether 2.2.2
Removed sessions no longer reappear when their terminal was moved to the background with /bg
Tether 2.2.1
Multi-select questions now show as multi-select on the phone (checkboxes, choose any), with their tab headers. Before, every question Claude asked was shown as choose-one.
Tether 2.2.0
Ask /btw side questions from the phone, and see Claude's workflows (ultracode) as they run. Notifications are quieter: one per session, only while it needs you, cleared once you act. The chat top bar shows the project name, each subagent gets one strip, and session-to-session message approvals read as messages. Question and dialog panels are more reliable (alike question tabs, unnumbered options, no empty panels), image attach works on the New session screen, and hand-offs with a background task running are handled. Screenshots work with the biometric lock on, the lock screen recovers if the unlock prompt never shows, and removing a session deletes its uploaded images. Settings links to the website from the Updates row.
Tether 2.2.0-beta.2
The chat top bar now shows the project name next to the machine badge. Attaching an image on the New session screen works again. Answering a set of similar questions no longer fails with "Couldn't read the question on the machine". The "Claude Code is asking something" panel is never empty: when the prompt can't be read it says what Claude is waiting for. Background subagents show in one strip instead of two.
Tether 2.2.0-beta.1
Claude's workflows (ultracode) now show on the phone: the running workflow, its agents and their progress, and a readable permission prompt. A session asking to message another session now shows the message itself with Send / Don't send. Screenshots and screen recording work with the biometric lock on, and the lock screen recovers when the fingerprint prompt never appears. Project chips stay in place while messages arrive, and the machine badges moved to the top of Home.
Tether 2.1.0
Typed answers to Claude's questions now go through on multi-select questions, and later questions in a multi-question prompt are no longer skipped. The question panel shows send errors next to Submit, folds to one line from its header so you can read the chat, fits above the keyboard, and focuses the text box when you choose "Something else…". Permission prompts no longer show stray dashed lines in the dialog body.

Tether 2.0.0
Tether 2.0: every Claude Code session is one thing.
- Sessions you start on the phone, on the computer (claude --bg) and in a terminal all show up in one list, under the same id. Open yesterday's session and keep typing; a stopped session wakes when you send to it.
- Replies stream word by word, and the phone works like claude attach: slash commands, mode changes (Shift+Tab), interrupt, images.
- Answer every prompt from the phone, including the MCP-servers and folder-trust dialogs; approvals from notifications only answer the prompt they were shown for.
- When Claude ends its turn asking you to do something, the session shows "Your turn" with a Reply button; tap Claude's suggested reply to fill the reply box.
- The model chip changes only that session, not your machine's default.
- Worktree sessions show under their project's name.
- Running a command no longer flashes it as plain text before its tool card appears.
- Live runs are gone; earlier ones appear as ordinary sessions you can continue.
- New settings: Agents > Show terminal sessions, and Beta updates.
Needs Claude Code 2.1.286 or newer with background agents on each machine.
Tether 2.0.0-beta.4
- Running a command no longer flashes the command as plain text before its tool card appears.
- A worktree session is shown under its project's name.
