TERX v0.4.0 is a local replay gate for approved browser-agent workflows. It reuses only a small semantic action sequence when scope, starting conditions, accessible targets, and outcome proof still match.

Highlights

  • Replaced raw-CDP persistence with TERX.navigate, TERX.click, and TERX.type.
  • Added required scope, precondition, postcondition, route, version, side-effect, and TTL policy checks.
  • Re-resolves exact accessible targets and refuses missing or ambiguous matches.
  • Destructive hits now require an atomically consumed host approval bound to the task, policy, DOM structural hash, and semantic command digest.
  • Added the dependency-free TerxWorkflow adapter and terx mcp-config helper.

Boundary

Browser Use remains experimental. Stagehand has no native adapter. TERX is Chromium/CDP-focused and does not provide a browser fleet, stealth stack, CAPTCHA handling, credential vault, visual builder, hosted trace UI, or automatic production self-healing.

Verification

57 tests passed, Ruff passed, the four-workflow local headless-Chrome evaluation passed, release artifacts passed Twine validation, and a fresh-wheel smoke test passed.
