Grounding with Google Maps has a fee on the ten Gemini models that offer it (tool google_maps): Gemini 2.5 Pro,
Flash and Flash-Lite $25 / 1,000 grounded prompts (one fee per request, like their Search grounding); Gemini 3 and newer
$14 / 1,000 search queries (per query). A map-grounded request was priced as unknown before.
A time-of-day tier can be limited to days of the week (PricingTier.DaysOfWeekUtc, JSON daysOfWeekUtc; PricingTierContext.CallDayUtc). The unified CalculateCost(TokenCounts, CostContext) reads the day from CostContext.Date; a call whose day is unknown still pays the tier.

DeepSeek charges peak rates on weekdays only. Its peak windows (01:00–04:00 and 06:00–10:00 UTC) apply Monday to
Friday; the catalog applied them every day, so a weekend call in those hours was priced at double the rate. Chinese
public holidays (also off-peak) are not modelled and still price at peak.
A long cached prompt on OpenAI and Azure GPT-5.6 / GPT-6 models is priced at the long-context cache-write rate. Their
long-context tiers (over 272K input tokens) stated no cache-write price, so cache writes fell back to the short-context
rate — half the vendors' long-context price (e.g. gpt-6-astra $12.50 instead of $25.00 per 1M).
