Breaking: the 20-Questions sample's game schema leaves Ironbees.Autonomous — GameDefinition and its parts
(GameModeDefinition, AgentAssignments, GameRules, GameMessages, ValidationSettings, InvalidPatterns, ValidationMessages, PlayerPrompts), GameConfigLoader, AgentDefinition (with OutputFormat, AgentLlmSettings, FallbackConfig, FallbackPool, GuessRule), AgentDefinitionLoader, ContextAwareFallbackStrategy, ConversationHistoryBuilder, LlmResponseParser and PromptTemplateBuilder now live in samples/TwentyQuestionsSample.
They described one game, not the SDK. Migration: copy them from the sample if you used them.
Breaking: contracts nothing implemented or threw are gone — IMcpServer, IToolRegistry, ToolDefinition, JsonSchema, ToolResult, ToolExecutionException, ToolNotFoundException (Ironbees.AgentMode), MafDrivenOrchestrator
(most of its members threw NotSupportedException; use MafWorkflowConverter + MafWorkflowExecutor), ListBasedFallbackStrategy/StringListFallbackStrategy and NoOpFallbackStrategy (pass null for no fallback), and ProgressChunk (never emitted). Migration: delete the use.
Added
The IronHive adapter's structured stream says which model answered and why it stopped. At the end of the stream it
sends MetadataChunk(MetadataChunk.ModelKey, …) and MetadataChunk(MetadataChunk.ResponseIdKey, …) when the provider
reported them, and CompletionChunk.FinishReason carries the done reason (EndTurn, MaxTokens, …).
Changed
The packages from this repository depend on each other at exactly the same version ([x.y.z]), not a floor.
A consumer that moves one of them while a family member it depends on resolves at an older version now gets restore warning NU1608 naming
the pair (an error where warnings are errors) — before, the mixed versions restored silently and could fail at run time.
A member that reaches you only through another package's floor is not covered: pin every member you load and move them together.
A non-text block in a streamed tool result is named [image content omitted]. This applies to ToolCallCompleteChunk Result/Error. It was [ImageMessageContent omitted — non-text tool output is not carried on this stream]. The
adapter now flattens with IronHive's ToolOutput.ToText(), so it uses the same wording as IronHive. Text results are
unchanged.
The nuget.org «Release Notes» of every package link to the GitHub release of its version, whose notes are this CHANGELOG's section for that version.
