Elfie v1.0.0 (build 3)

@github-actions github-actions released this 07 Sep 12:36

Windows installer, built from e66d90a.

Download ElfieSetup.exe below and run it. It installs the API, the
web app and the desktop daemon, along with private copies of Node.js,
Python, ffmpeg and MongoDB, and leaves a tray icon that starts and stops
the three of them. No administrator rights are needed, except one prompt
for MongoDB that you can skip if you already have a database.

Setup downloads those runtimes from their official sites and resolves the
npm/pip dependencies on your machine, so it needs an internet connection
and takes 5 to 20 minutes.

Windows will show a SmartScreen warning because the executable is not
code-signed: More info → Run anyway.

deploy(installer): English release notes, and keep tsbuildinfo out of the payload

The release notes and the workflow step names were in Portuguese, which is wrong
for the parts of this repo the public reads — the README, the commit messages and
.env.example are all English. Internal comments stay in Portuguese, as elsewhere.

build.sh now excludes *.tsbuildinfo. rsync does not read .gitignore, so the local
build was shipping this machine's TypeScript build-info file inside the installer.
That is not just payload noise: npm run build runs tsc -b, which uses that
file for incremental builds, so a foreign tsbuildinfo could convince the user's
machine everything was already compiled and leave dist/ empty.

It was found by diffing the CI-built exe against a local one — they were 546
bytes apart, and this was the only content difference. What remains is build
metadata: two local builds of an identical tree come out the same size but with
different checksums, so the Inno compiler is not byte-reproducible.

Instalador do Windows compilado a partir de ca624ad.

Baixe o ElfieSetup.exe abaixo e execute. Ele instala o servidor, o

deploy(installer): fix the build failing under a different uid

The first CI run died with "Error 5: Access denied" writing ElfieSetup.e32.tmp
into the output bind mount. The Inno compiler runs as uid 1000 inside
amake/innosetup, so it can only write into a mount whose host owner is also 1000.
That happened to be true on the machine this was written on, which is exactly why
it passed locally and failed on the runner, where the user is 1001.

chmod 0777 on the output directory before the container starts. Passing --user to
docker would be the tidier fix on paper, but it would run wine under a uid with
no home directory in the image and break the WINEPREFIX.

deploy(installer): rebuild with the Inworld call fixes

Carries fa61c10 (audio write off the websocket reader thread, transcript replay
across a reconnect, drop is now audible), 0c03847 (image generation in a call),
e2643c6 (alwaysVisible skills reach voice, image skills open on screen) and
ed33008 (rolling history window) into the shipped installer.

The committed binary had drifted from the source it packages, which is the cost
of versioning it in the repo — build.sh refreshes it on every build, this commit
is the half that has to be done by hand.
