cockpit is a Claude Code plugin that puts context usage and session cost in the status line, adds a budget alert and a /cockpit dashboard with rate limits and MCP server health, and blocks rm -rf and other recursive deletes in Dropbox, iCloud Drive, Google Drive and OneDrive folders.

Install

/plugin install cockpit --marketplace izzatum/claude-code-cockpit

In this release

  • Status line: project, context %, session cost and active modes, e.g. web-app · ctx 31% · $0.84 · caveman.
  • /cockpit dashboard: context bar with token count, cost against your budget, rate limits, modes, MCP server health and the guard's block count.
  • Budget alert: one pop-up when the session's cost reaches budget (default $5; 0 turns it off).
  • Cloud-sync guard: blocks rm -rf, find -delete, rsync --delete, git clean -f and more in synced folders; warns before installs and builds there.
  • MCP server health: counts connected, need-sign-in and failed servers, with one pop-up if the first check finds a failed one.
  • Compact tool rows and a project tag on the spinner.
