Binary 0.1.0 beta 1 is the first public preview of the configurable binary watch face for Wear OS 7.

Install

Eligible testers can join the Google Play internal test for Play-managed installation and updates.

For manual installation, download binary-watch-face.apk and binary-watch-face.apk.sha256 below. This universal APK was exported from Google Play and carries the same app-signing certificate as Play-installed builds.

Install the APK directly on the watch, not on its paired phone. See the README for USB and Wi-Fi setup, updates, and debug-build replacement.

  • Display 12- or 24-hour time as true binary, with optional seconds and bit weights
  • Customize dot, text, backdrop, tick, date, battery, size, and visual-effect settings
  • Select two, three, or four complication slots
  • Configure a colorful, low-power always-on display independently from the active face
  • Run a resource-only Watch Face Format package with no executable app code, network access, analytics, or data collection

Compatibility

Requires Wear OS 7 (API level 37) and a watch that supports Watch Face Format 5.
