Setting up JQM

Initial stages:

1. Follow the instructions for setting up JQM (2.2.1) using the Linux/Unix.

2. Decompress JQM into a suitable root folder.

3. Set the global parameter $JQM_ROOT to the folder you have just decompressed (e.g. in your bash_profile)

4. add $JQM_ROOT/bin to your path to instruct JQM of its libs location

Configuring DB

1. Edit your resources.xml to include postgres jdbc config.

2. download latest postgres jdbc driver and place in $JQM_ROOT/ext.

3. Add jqm as a user within postgres

4. Add the user, db and roles to postgres https://jqm.readthedocs.io/en/jqm-all-2.2.1/admin/install.html

Starting JQM

1. call the jqm.sh script and call createnode

• this will setup dbs and create the admin node. https://jdbc.postgresql.org/download.html
