Parmesan 4.2.0 makes selective semantic work portable between conversations.

Highlights:

  • pm4 plan-piece resolves selected graph/node roots and reports a bounded dependency plan.
  • pm4 share-piece recursively carries nested graph members and semantic Markdown pointer dependencies.
  • Exact pm4://object/<UUID> references and UUID destinations are portable; globally unique aliases are supported for convenience.
  • Missing or ambiguous semantic dependencies fail closed before publication.
  • Every piece is a small valid PM4 workspace preserving original semantic identities and branch-scoped aliases.
  • Semantic material, provenance/custody, and local machinery occupy separate capsule paths.
  • pm4 receive provides a read-only bounded preview, then materializes the piece only on request.
  • Existing native composition safely deduplicates exact dependencies already present and rejects immutable identity collisions.

Validation: 115 tests passed; release/package verification passed; the extracted ZIP completed create → plan-piece → share-piece → receive → compose with three carried objects, one pointer dependency, a valid result, and zero blocking conflicts.
